เว็บไซต์ Metro รายงานว่า โค้ชยิมนาสติกหนุ่มรายหนึ่ง ถูกจับเข้าคุกในข้อหาล่วงละเมิดทางเพศเด็กนักเรียนชั้นประถม ด้วยวิธีการสุดพิสดาร นั่นก็คือ "การสำเร็จความใคร่ด้วยเท้า"
โดยโค้ชหนุ่มรายนี้ มีชื่อว่า Luke Griffin อายุ 20 ปี เขาเริ่มทำงานในยิมนาสติกแห่งหนึ่งในเมือง คาร์ดิฟ เมื่ออายุ 17 ปี ก่อนที่ในเวลาต่อมาจะถูกจับในข้อหาล่วงละเมิดทางเพศเด็กผู้หญิงและเด็กผู้ชายรวมทั้งหมด 8 คน ซึ่งอายุต่ำกว่า 12 ปี
ศาลในเมืองคาร์ดิฟ เปิดเผยว่า Luke ล่วงละเมิดเด็กหญิงคนหนึ่งในรถส่วนตัวด้วยวิธีการ "เลียเท้า"
และต่อมาเด็กหญิงรายดังกล่าว ก็ได้ให้การกับตำรวจว่า
"หนูรู้สึกกลัว เพราะเขาบอกว่า เขาจะทำร้ายแม่หนู และจะลักพาตัวคนในครอบครัวของหนู"
"หนูกลัวมาก เพราะคิดว่าเขาจะไปที่บ้าน และจับตัวหนู"
และในเวลาต่อมาเจ้าหน้าที่ยังพบด้วยว่า เขาได้ทำการล่วงละเมิดเหยื่อรายอื่นๆ ด้วยวิธีการเดียวกัน นั่นก็คือ สำเร็จความใคร่ด้วยเท้า ด้วยการ "เลีย" จนกระทั่งเด็กหญิงที่ถูกล่วงละเมิดในเรื่องไปบอกผู้ปกครอง จนเป็นที่มาของการสอบสวน
Caroline Rees อัยการในคดีนี้ ให้การต่อศาลว่าคดีล่วงละเมิดที่เกิดขึ้นคงต้องใช้เวลาในการพิจารณาที่ยาวนานพอสมควร เพราะเรื่องดังกล่าวมีความลึกซึ้งมาก
ในขณะที่ทนายฝั่งจำเลย Andrew Taylor ให้การต่อศาลว่า สิ่งที่ Luke Griffin ทำกับเด็กผู้หญิงทั้งหมด เพราะเขาคิดว่าเป็นของเล่น เนื่องจาก Luke Griffin ยังไม่บรรลุนิติภาวะและก็ไร้เดียงสา ซึ่งในเวลาต่อมา เขาก็ได้ทำการขอโทษสิ่งที่ได้กระทำไปทั้งหมดแล้ว
ทั้งนี้ Griffin โดนไปทั้งหมด 14 ข้อหา ซึ่งรวมถึงการล่วงละเมิดทางเพศเด็กที่อายุต่ำกว่า 13 ปี และโทษที่ได้รับ ก็คือจำคุก 6 ปี ในสถานพินิจเยาวชน

A young gymnastics coach has been jailed for sexually abusing primary school children to satisfy his foot fetish.
Luke Griffin, who started working at a gymnastics club in Cardiff when he was 17, admitted a string of sexual offences relating to eight vulnerable boys and girls, all under the age of 12.
Cardiff Crown Court heard the 20-year-old shut one girl in the boot of his car and sexually abused her by tickling and licking her feet.
The girl told police officers: ‘I felt scared because he said he would beat my mummy up. He said he could kidnap one of my family.
‘I was scared because I thought he might come to my house and take me in the night.’
He was found out after abusing another child in the same way – by brushing, tickling and biting her feet. She told her mother, and a police investigation was launched.
Caroline Rees, prosecuting, told the court that the effect of the abuse on his victims ‘has been profound and will be long-lasting’.
‘Each of the parents is rightly devastated by the significant breach of trust in this case.’
Defending, Andrew Taylor said Griffin had treated the children as a ‘play thing for his sexual fantasy’ because he was ‘immature’ and ‘naive’, but that he apologised.
Griffin pleaded guilty to a total of 14 counts, including sexual assault on children under 13 and one of false imprisonment. The other counts were ordered to lie on file.
He was sentenced to six years in a young offender institution and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order was made.
Handing down the sentence, Judge Patrick Curran QC said: ‘Each child and each parent has been profoundly affected. It is perfectly plain that there has been long-standing distress from what you have done.’
